Charles Alfred Lister

In memoriam

2nd Lieutenant Hon. Charles Alfred Lister Hood Bn. R.N. Div Royal Marines Died aged 27 from wounds received at the Battle of Gallipoli during He was Attaché in the Diplomatic Service in 1910. He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in 1914 in the service of the Middlesex Hussars. Awards: Mentioned in Despatches(wounded three times.) Son of Thomas Lister, 4th Baron Ribblestone and Charlotte Monkton Tennant. His elder brother Captain Hon. Thomas Lister DSO was killed in action 10 January 1904 aged 25 at Jidballi, Somaliland.
