Lieutenant. RNR. C. W. BRAY H.M.S. "Aquarius" 15th November 1917 Age 30

Son of Charles Bray (1840-1897) & Arabella Bray nee Waddington (1852-1944). Charles Willoughby Bray was a ship owner's clerk before World War I. He died of an illness aboard the ship HMS Aquarius. His cross from Mudros was later brought to England and placed against the gravestone of his father in Ipswich Old Cemetery. BRAY Charles Willoughby. Lieutenant. H.M.S. "Aquarius'. WILLOUGHBY BRAY The death is announced on one of the H.M. boats in the East Mediterranean of Lt. C. Willoughby Bray, R.N.R. (Cunard S.S. Co.) second son of the late Chas. Bray.
