In memoriam

Executed at Kazanaki hill (exact location of the monument for the executed persons - 127 in total: 39.387122, 22.951688), at Sarakino mountain, 1 km North-East of the cemetery. She was executed by a firing squad of the national (royalist) army, together with 25 other persons. They were members of the outlawed communist party of Greece (KKE), and/or fighters of the Democratic Army of Greece (ΔΣΕ). According to witnesses, when she learnt that she will be executed, she dressed with her good clothes and put on lipstick, and said that she wanted to be beautiful when she will face death.
