Constantin Poroineanu

Was a big land owner in Romanati and a Romanian lawyer. In the Bellu cemetery Eufrosina and Constantin Poroineanu have one of the most beautiful monuments made by Raffaello Romanelli. The statuary group was commissioned by Constantin Poroianu after the death in 1902 of his sister Eufrosina. The monument was not finished before Constantin's death, as his will included the clause that the Caracal Town Hall would pay for the completion of the work.
