Was a big land owner in Romanati and a Romanian lawyer. In the Bellu cemetery Eufrosina and Constantin Poroineanu have one of the most beautiful monuments made by Raffaello Romanelli. The statuary group was commissioned by Constantin Poroianu after the death in 1902 of his sister Eufrosina. The monument was not finished before Constantin's death, as his will included the clause that the Caracal Town Hall would pay for the completion of the work. Constantin Poroineanu's suicide led to the creation of a legend, which, although entirely fictitious, has been periodically repeated. According to it, Constantin Poroineanu had a son, Sergiu, born in Romania, and an illegitimate daughter, Mirabelle, born in Paris as a result of a relationship during his studies in France. More than twenty years later, Sergiu and Mirabelle would meet in Paris, fall in love and marry. Returning to the country, they would find out they were brother and sister and commit suicide.
