Cristina Stamate

Cristina Stamate was a Romanian Film Actress. She also worked in theatre, being one of the most known actresses in Romania. In 1966, she married actor Dan Ivănescu. They divorced after 11 years. On 23 November 2017, same day that Stela Popescu died, she was interned at Floreasca Hospital, in bad condition. Is believed that she was inconscient for many hours, when her neighbours, preoccupated for her, call the police and they broke the door on Cristina's Departament. She died four days lated, on 27 November 2017. She was 71.
