Cyril Holmes

In memoriam

Cyril Holmes was a service casualty of WW1 Cyril was the son of Benjamin and Alice Holmes, of Grey Towers, Hornchurch, Essex and was the husband of Francis Maud Holmes (nee Brown) of Trevelyan Rd., Seaton, Devon. Cyril served as Captain Welsh Regiment, 'D' Coy. 8th (Pioneer) Bn. He is also commemorated on the Hornchurch War Memorial, and at the time of his passing Cyril was 33 years of age. (ECP)
