Major David John Wallace was the son of Captain Rt. Hon. (David) Euan Wallace M.C., P.C., and Lady Myra Idina Sackville. He married Joan Prudence Magor, daughter of Richard Magor, in 1939. He lost his life while attached as an observer to the 10th Greek Division, the strongest national resistance force fighting against the Germans. King's Royal Rifle Corps attd. Special Operations Executive His brother W/Cdr. Gerard Euan Wallace also fell. Hes two half brothers Lieutenant John Wallace and F/Lt. Edward Peter Wallace were killed.
