Panourgias Xiros or Dimitrios Xiros (Greek: Πανουργιάς Ξηρός or Δημήτριος Ξηρός), known simply as PANOURGIAS, was a Greek chieftain of Amfissa Province (Salona), originating from Agios Georgios and born in Dremisa, named Πανουργιάς (Panourgias) in his honour in 1915. He was one of the most important leaders of the 1821 Struggle against the Othomans.
