De Ruvigny's Honour Role GALBRAITH, Donald, Private No. 18151, 12th Battalion, Princess Louises’ (Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders), eldest son of Archibald Galbraith of Glenbarr, Kintrye, co. Argyll by hiscwifr Margaret McCallum of Campbeltown; and brother to Sergeant Archibald Galbraith; b. January 12, 1886, Glenbarr; educated public schools there; was a gardener: enlisted Nov. 6, 1916. Served with Salonika Army from January 1917 and died at Philippopolis, May 9, 1917 from wounds received in action near Red Scar Hill. Buried at Philippopolis, Bulgaria. Donald’s younger brother, Archibald was killed a few weeks before in France.
