Born 19 St. Giles Street, Edinburgh. Parents are John Buie b 28 Aug 1862, Jura, Argyll, Scotland and Flora McKechnie b 2 May 1863 Jura, Argyll, Scotland. Donald immigrated to New Zealand in 1932 and sailed from London England. He listed his last known address as Priory House, Queensberry. I believe this now to be the location of the New Scottish Parliament buildings in Edinburgh. Donald married Evelyn Naomi Hawkes 1937 New Zealand and he is named on his wife's headstone.
