Dorothea Meyer was actually born in Klopodia, County Timis in the Banat, Hungary. But Klopodia is not on the map and the closest town is Timisoara which was the only way to set up this memorial. Again, she was not born in Timisoara but Klopodia. Dorothea married Gottfried Reichert (1851--) in 1883. Not certain of place but they spent most of their life in Pancevo, located in province Banat, Hungary. She & Gottfried had 3 children: 1) Sophia Reichert-Mindum (1884-1965) called "Sofietante"; 2) Kristina Reichert-Minda (1886-1972) called "Kristintante" & 3) Maria "Maritza" (1890--) who was killed in WWII concentration camp. Maritza had polio and was retarded, thus exterminated by the Nazis. Dorothea's father & mother are unknown. On the fan chart for LDS FHL lineage, her daughter Kristina (Christine) Reichert-Minda submitted Johann Meyer & Eva Schmidt as their parents. However, this is impossible as Johann & Eva were married in 1803 in Streitau, Germany (have record of this marriage). That would mean Eva would have given birth in her fifties to her two daughters: Dorothea Meyer-Reichert & Kristina Meyer-Weinz. Just not feasible. Also, I have taken the liberty to have her buried in the Old Orthodox Cemetery in Pancevo. The reason being there are only two known cemeteries in Pancevo at this time and the other one is Pancevo Catholic Cemetery. Dorothea & Gottfried were Lutherans & would not have chosen a catholic cemetery for their burials.
