Dževad Demirović

Fate wanted two close relatives, Dževad and Mirsad Demirović, to die on the same day, November 11, 1994. On the same day, March 13, 1992, both of them joined the "Green Berets", the "KLIS" unit. The young Dževad died at the age of nineteen in a relentless fight on November 11, 1994, in the area of ​​Kobiljača, a place on the outskirts of Mostar, with well-fortified and armed Chetniks. At the time of his death, he was a member of the 445th Mountain Brigade, a member of the sabotage company, the Army of RBiH. The eternal consolation to his parents, father Asim and mother Šaha, as well as his brother and two sisters, is the realization that in the memories of his comrades he remained in memory as an exemplary soldier, exceptional friend and selfless man who was ready, at all times, to honor his comrades. He was determined to win his freedom, which, unfortunately, he did not receive.
