Edward Vaughan-Jones

In memoriam

Lieutenant Edward Vaughan-Jones, of Hampstead, London, was the son of Colonel Edward Vaughan-Jones, V. D and and Harriet Vaughan-Jones. Native of Hampstead, London. , Edward served in the Great War with the Royal Welsh Fusiliers. He fell aged 38. He is also remembered on his parents' grave at Hampstead cemetery in London, along with his brother Gerald, also killed in action. His inscription at Hampstead reads: 'Also of Edward Vaughan-Jones, Lieut. RWF. eldest son of the above [Edward Vaughan-Jones Col. ], Killed in Action May 11th 1918, and buried at Doiran Road, Salonica, aged 38 years.'
