Elena “Nuți” Ecobici

Negligence Victim. Elena was the Secretary of Oltenia's Gorj County Council President for over 25 years. It was the evening of Thursday, June 6, 2024. Elena had went with her little sister and a friend of them both, to celebrate the fact that Elena overcame cancer. After their meeting, their friend took them home on her car. Elena's sister left the car and went to a safe area, but Elena kept having a conversation with her friend, having the front passenger door still opened, and her friend keeping the engine on and the steering wheel steered completely to the left. Unfortunately, her friend confused the brake with the acceleration, and the tragedy occurred. Elena's sister survived, while Elena died at the scene. May she rest in Eternal Peace...
