This Prussian princess was the second wife of Bulgarian Tsar Ferdinand. They were married on February 28, 1908 in a Catholic ceremony and two days later in a Protestant ceremony. Her grave was desecrated during Bulgaria's communist period but was restored after 1989 when the communist regime was toppled.
