Woman of artistic and humanitarian temperament, she distinguished herself in music as organist, and in literature having written and published with the pseudonym of Carmen Sylva several poems and some works collecting consents and prizes at European level. Elizabeth Pauline zu Wield is known for her commitment to women's cultural emancipation in Romania.
