Eugen I. Angelescu (b. 1896,[1] Râmnicu Vâlcea, Romania – d. 1968,[1] Bucharest, RS Romania) was a Romanian chemist, a full member of the Romanian Academy From 1928 he was associate professor of physical chemistry at the University of Bucharest, department of agricultural chemistry, and from 1936to1966 professor of organic chemistry at the same Faculty. Since 1948 he has been professor of the Faculty of Chemistry at the University of Bucharest. From 1958to1960 he was pro-rector of the University of Bucharest.
