Eveline was born on 28.6.1869, the daughter of John Hodgson and Martha Hodgson nee Walker, of Woodland Villa, Helperby, York. (Eveline was baptised on 29.6.1869 at Brafferton, York). Parents: John - Born Abt 1834 Yorkshire- Died 3.11.1903 Helperby Married on 30.3.1868 to Martha Walker - Born Abt 1839 Yorkshire - Died 1897 Siblings: Alphonso Walker - Born 26.4.1871 - Died in 1884 Great Ouseburn (Age 13) Adelaide Elizabeth - Born 20.7.1873 - Died 17.9.1960 Bulmer (Age 87) John - Born 25.10.1874 - Died ? Gertrude Martha - Born 28.11.1876 - Died 4.2.1951 York (Age 74) A Sister with the Queen Alexandra's Imperial Military Nursing Service. Attended 28th General Hospital. Served on H.M.H.S "The Letitia". Casualty of War: Eveline died of Malaria on the 21.12.1918 and was buried at the Mikra British Cemetery. In her will Eveline left her savings to Adelaide Elizabeth Hodgson and Gertrude Martha Hodgson. Gravestone approved by Miss A.E. Hodgson, Mirfield House, 186 Burton Stone Lane, York.
