Service Number ~ 3068 Unit ~ 18 New Zealand Infantry Enlisting 18 September 1939 at Opotiki.. Son Of Mr Frederick Charles Smith (father), 99 Saint George Street, Papatoetoe, Auckland, New Zealand, and Son of Edith Smith (Nee Cribb) Frank enlisted at Opotiki on 18th September 1939 where he was was employed at AF Summers of Woodlands. Smiths parents were born in England, his father Frederick Charles Smith was named next of kin, but he moved about the Auckland Province until finally he went to work at Arawhana Station near Gisborne in 1947.
