Sergeant 2293 12th Battalion Lancashire Fusiliers Killed in action, aged 25 years. Son of John and Margaret Ann Nuttall, (nee Wheeler) 13, William Street, Rochdale. Enlisted at Bury. A regular soldier, who had also served in India, prior to the outbreak of war.
