In memoriam
Fred was born in Muskegon, Michigan, the son of Frederick and Joyce (Randall) Hoffman. He graduated from Muskegon High School, and graduated from college. He became a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and married (1)Fredericka. They had two sons, Frederick George III, and George Hoffman. When that marriage ended, he went as a missionary to Romania where he founded and served with Couriers for Christ in Baia Mare. He met and married (2)Adriana "Ady" there, and together they adopted two Romanian children, Gilletta Joyce Hoffman and Colin Hoffman. He died suddenly in Romania from a blood clot which caused a heart attack, and is survived by his parents; his wife, Ady; his four children, Frederick George III, George, Gilletta Joyce, and Colin; three sisters, Gilletta (Marvin) Terlaan, Kathleen VanDyke, and Diana (Allen) Alexander; several grandchildren: and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
