Paybook photograph of VX18060 Private Frederick Keith Watts, 2/7th Battalion, Australian Infantry. Private Watts, aged 22, died while defending the island of Crete against the German land and airborne invasion on 27 May 1941. He was the son of Edward Thomas Watts and Elizabeth Mary Watts, of Yan Yean, Vic. He is commemorated on the Athens Memorial Face 11.
