Son of Arthur and Elizabeth Charles, of 62, Langford Rd., Fulham, London. Brother to George & Walter. Arthur and Elizabeth also lost another son to the Great War, 4400 Private Henry Charles, who was Killed in Action while serving with the 1/13 Kensington (City of London) Battalion, (Princess Louise's Kensington Battalion).
