Son of Franc Zalar and Ana Kovačič Zalar. Born and lived in Begunje pri Cerknici. From the Dolnji Hribljan farm. Murdered at Krive Doli after the Second World War. Source: http://www.sistory.si/zrtve/zrtev/?id=95137 Krive Doli is a microtoponym for a location north of Zelše along the road from Podskrajnik to Rakek. Today it has been developed into a retail center, but it was a military installation in the past where liquidations were carried out by the secret police (OZNA).
