Also known as Kašpar Mašek. Born in Prague and died in Ljubljana. He was a Czech-Slovenian composer, son of Vincent Mašek. He met and married Amalija Horni in Graz. They moved together to Ljubljana, where he became the director of the philharmonic orchestra.
