George Economides

In memoriam

George Economides (1916-22 April 1985) was a Greek konferasie, singer, writer and radio announcer. He studied law but quickly pulled the "presentation". He initiated and "trained" as konferasie the famous "Mantra" by Attik where he won his first applause. He began his presentations in theaters, in various centers of amusement and bars or events in the late 1930s worked with Kostas Pretenteri and together they wrote multitude of theatrical inspections were big hits. In early 1950, George Economides, except very popular in vaudeville and on the slopes, was most successful and popular man of radio, the first real star who made this instrument in Greece, mainly with new talent and not only. Through the emission of "New Talent" gave an opportunity for young people to emerge.
