14313 Private George Harold Frost, was Killed in Acrtion, on thw 30th.August.1916, Aged 21, while serving with the 7th.Battalion, The Royal Berkshire Regiment. The 7th.Battalion War Diary entry for this day reported 'About 0100hrs a Bulgar patrol approached our wire on the right of C2 and were fired on and disappeared. 0930hrs enemy shelled C2 shrapnel. Casualties 2Lt J Butler wounded, and 1 Other Rank killed (Probably George) and 2 OR wounded'. Son of Henry & Flora Frost, of 16, Blakes Cottages, Reading.
