George Roussos

In memoriam

George Roussos (1910-1984) was a Greek journalist and writer. Born in Antiparos and studied law at Athens University. He worked as a journalist in newspapers "Freedom Step", "New Athenian", "People's Voice" etc. He was editor of the newspaper "The News" and director of the magazine "Postman". She also worked with the National Broadcasting Corporation. Alongside his career in the press, dealt with writing novels and plays, many of which enjoyed great commercial success and was rearranged for television and radio. His wife was the actress Kate Lambropoulou.
