Georgios Fotios Tsoukalas

Born in the beautiful mountain village: Ano Chora, Greece. He bought property in the village of Nafpaktos and his ancestral mountain village of Ano Chora. The house he built in Ano Chora was considered the best house in the village in those days. Everyone thought he was rich. He put his money in the bank and when World War II started he lost all his savings. He and Tasia had five children. George died of pneumonia in Ano Chora, Greece in 1939.
