Engineer. Parents–Count Nikolai Egorovich Pio-Ulski, mother princess Ekaterina Fedorovna Glebova-Shakhovskaya. God Parents Pskov District Marshal of Nobility, councilor of state, prince Fedor Vasilielivich Shakhovskioi and the wife of the inspector of the Pskov Military College, collegial councilor Matvei Vasilievch Fursov – Evfimia Mikhailovna. Education: Naval Engineer School of Emperor Nikolai I (located on the navy island near St. Petersburg – Kronshtadt) and Naval Academy of Emperor Nikolai in St. Petersburg. Count Georgii Nikolaevich Pio-Ulski was married to Countess Natalia Antonovnee Unosha-Shaniavskaia. She was the daughter of the deceased councilor of state. They had 5 children-Vladimir, b. February 22, 1988, Antonii, b. May 16, 1894, Agripina, b. August 26, 1896, Maria, b. January 7, 1899, Galli, b. October 10 1905. Georgii Nikolaevich learned in the Technical School of the Navy Department (it had been the Navy Engineer School of Emperor Nikolay of the year 1910) His promotions are listed in details in the service list since September 10, 1880 (the date of his entering the Technical School) till April 10, 1911 (later then the date of compiling of the document which is indicated on its cover). This last entry is about his promotion to the rank of the major-general for his distinguished services according to the Emperor's order #1035 The most important awards: The order St Stanislaw 1st, 2nd and 3rd class, St. Vladimir, 3rd class, St. Anne 1st and 3rd classes. The medals: in memory of 300th anniversary of the Romanovs reining, in memory of 200th anniversary of the Gangut battle, silver medal in memory of the Emperor Alexander III.
