Private in the Royal Army Medical Corps. Gordon was the son of Charles Henry Francis Seward and his wife Kathleen Gertrude Seward nee Leggatt. They lived in Bognor Regis. He had 3 brothers Charles, Douglas and Reginald. Before the war Gordon was a member of the St John Ambulance Brigade and they dedicated an ambulance in his memory. Gordon is also remembered on the Bognor Regis WW2 Memorial, outside the Town Hall in Bognor Regis.
