Gueorgui Naoumov

Prof. Dr. Gueorgui Naumov (born in Sofia May 18th 1923, died in Sofia March 25th 2005) was a true renaissance man with a tireless ever blossoming encyclopedic fountain like intellectually bursting mind and an seemingly endless thirst coated in a humanistic pedagogical mindset gazing at utopian horizons, for knowledge driven by a constant day dreaming for a better world. Violinist, oboist and accordionist as well, his musicianship coming from his mother, public schools music theory solfege teacher Svoboda “Boda” Naumova (1902-1978) culminated in the publication of a treatise about accordion playing in both Bulgarian and Russian languages.
