Guido Ascanio Sforza di Santa Fiora

In memoriam

Clergy. He was born in Rome as the son of Bosio II Sforza and Constanza Farnese, a daughter of Paull III. In December 1534 he was created Cardinal by his grandfather who had recently become Pope. He participated in the four conclaves between 1549 and 1559 and suddenly died of high fever in Mantua.
