In memoriam

Luftwaffe, 7/KG2, Gefreiter und Beobachter. Aircraft hit by Flak on 19.04.1941. Died of wounds in Plovdiv Hospital. The VDK say "Gustav Henninger has not yet been transferred to a military cemetery set up by the Volksbund. According to the information available to us, his grave is still in the following location: Plovdiv / Bulgaria - Bulgaria The Volksbund tries to find the graves of the German soldiers on the basis of war graves agreements and to give them secure permanent resting places. We hope to be able to find Gustav Henninger's grave in the not too distant future and to be able to transfer the bones to a military cemetery.
