Second Lieutenant Harold Drewell Mosley, was Killed in Action on 16th.August 1916, Aged 27, while serving with the 7th.Battalion, The Royal Berkshire Regiment. The 7th.Btn. official War Diary part entry for the 16-8-1916 reported 'At Asagi-Mahalla, KIDNEY HILL shelled 0800-1200hrs. Lt G.W.R. BRAY and 2Lt H.D.MOSLEY killed. 2 O.R. killed and 7 wounded. Harold is Commemorated on a Memorial Tablet at Holy Trinity Church, Lamorbey, Hurst Road, Sidcup, Bexley. The Tablet reads; TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN LOVING MEMORY OF / HAROLD DREWELL MOSLEY, / 2ND LIEUTENANT, / PRINCESS CHARLOTTE OF WALES / ROYAL BERKSHIRE REGIMENT, / WHO WAS KILLED IN ACTION ON THE SERBIAN FRONTIER, / 16TH AUGUST 1916 / AGED 27 YEARS / R.I.P. Son of Henry and Mary Mosley (later Mrs Nicholls), of London.
