2ND AIF VX25054 Gunner 2/3 Light Anti Aircraft Regiment Initially reported MIA near Heraklion, then later updated to drowned as a result of enemy action, which obviously occurred during the evacuation/escape of Allied forces from Crete. After his death, his wife re-married Frederick Richard Ellis in 1948.
