23874 Private Herbert James Alfred Norris (Alf) , was Killed in Action on the 24th.April 1917, while serving with the 7th.Battalion, The Royal Berkshire Regiment. Son of late Herbert & Edith Maud Norris of 22, Meadowcroft Road, Whitley, Reading and previously at Lea Dairy Farm, Three Mile Coss, Nr.Reading.
