Henry County Local New Castle, Kentucky July 28, 2009 Hillis Deannie Sharp, age 77 of Glyfada, Greece, died Thursday, July 23, 2009, at his residence. Son of the late Fannie Louden Blackaby and Earl Sharp, he was a native of Henry County and retired after a distinguished career in the Air Force. He is survived by his wife, Maria Sharp; one daughter, Louisa Gounas and husband, Andreas; two sons: Eric Sharp and wife, Evvanne and Allen Sharp and wife, Christina, all of Athens and Glyfada, Greece; one sister, Pat Blackaby Case, Eminence; one brother, Orvie "Bud" Sharp, Winchester; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth Sharp. Burial services were held Monday, July 27 in Glyfada, Greece.
