Hfz. Ibrahim ef. Maglajlić - Bosniak theologian, the fifth reis-ul-ulema in the period of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia and the first president of the Yugoslav Muslim Organization (JMO). Maglajlić successfully managed the administration of both religious and educational institutes until 1914, when he was appointed district mufti in Tuzla in April. He saw the end of the war in the position of district mufti. With his friends from the National Council and other prominent Muslims, he launched an action to organize Bosnian Muslims into a political party. When in March 1922 there was a split in the club of deputies of the Yugoslav Muslim Organization (JMO), he resigned from that party and founded a new political organization with his political associates, which failed to win a single parliamentary mandate in the first subsequent elections. In 1925, he was transferred as mufti to Banja Luka, and in 1929 he retired. The curia, composed of eight members of the Ulema Majlis, nine muftis, six supreme Sharia judges, three principals of Islamic secondary schools and two representatives of the Ministry of Army and Navy, elected him on June 11, 1930, and on June 12 he was appointed reisu-l-ulema. Hafiz Ibrahim ef. Maglajlić took the oath and received the mensura on June 19, 1930.
