Ibrahim Graho

In memoriam

Ibrahim Graho often failed to rest from the "war" during his military service in the former JNA, which he ended in January 1991. He joined the ranks of the "Green Berets" on the day they were formed in Konjic. He explained to his father Šerif, mother Fatima and brothers Uzeir, Ramo and Miralem that he had to do it because he already knew what was going on for his people. In the "KLIS" unit, from the beginning, he participated in organizing and planning both the first and subsequent battles in which he participated without sparing himself. He died near the village of Pacerani, near Konjic, on July 12, 1992, on a combat mission, but not from numerous bullets and shrapnel, but from, as fate intended, lightning strikes in a storm that is rarely remembered in this area. He was not destined to live.
