Ilonka “Elena” Jurjescu

Elena Jurjescu was born at the beginning of the 20th Century, in Chizdia, Arad County. She moved to Ghiroda Village, Timiș County, in the early '60s. She was a kind, loving and caring person. She had 4 children, three boys, and one girl. All her three boys died before she did. She was a housewife, married to Cornel Jurjescu who was a World War II Army Veteran, she never had a job. She enjoyed the little things she had in her life. After the passing of her last living son in the late '80s, in 1990 she moved back to Chizdia, which now was Coșarii, Timiș County, and she lived peacefully during her last years of life.
