Born in Pleseti , Alba, Romania. Buried In Limba Greek Orthodox cemetery, Limba Alba, Romania. During WWII he served in the Romanian Army and was in a Soviet concentration camp for over 7 months. Was member number 0001 of the Communist party and became the leader of the party for his state after WWII. The party promised all farmers they would get 50 percent of all crops grown but when it came time to pay them, it suddenly was reduced to only 25 percent. This caused him to become very disillusioned with the party and he had the fortitude to quit the part in protest. This was something not easily done and not without repercussions. He bought a plot of land and built a home before the war jn Limba. Here he and his wife raised their family along with their pigs, small farm and over 100 sheep. This home still stands and remains in the family.
