Here I lie to take my rest They call me Stan Ion Petrenjel I lived many beautiful years And was father to Ianos When the sacred wooden church Burned down I worked With patience and purpose For this holy shrine He lived for 87 years Was born 1859 ~ 1946

Ion Petrenjel Stan is buried in Cimitirul Vesel, Săpânța, Săpânța, Comuna Sãpânţa, Maramureș, Romania
