Here I lie to take my rest They call me Ion Stetca As long as I lived I liked being an innkeeper Pour wine with no measure To the saddened folk I don't know what happened to me For I left my village Leaving behind two children Maybe mother cursed me When she rocked the cradle For I left this life At age 44 1957 ~ 2001
Ion Stetca is buried in Cimitirul Vesel, Săpânța, Săpânța, Comuna Sãpânţa, Maramureș, Romania
