Ion Iliescu (n. 3 martie 1930, Oltenița, Călărași, România) este un politician român, care a condus statul român în trei rânduri, ca președinte al CFSN între 22 decembrie 1989–1992, apoi ca președinte ales al României între anii 1992–1996 și 2000–2004. Între 1996–2000 și 2004–2008 a fost senator din partea PSD. A fost președinte de onoare al PSD.
