NZBDM Birth: 1903/21391 Isaac Cyril Osborne to Margaret Jane and Robert Howard Osborne Never married. Enlisted for military service in Hamilton and served in overseas campaigns in both Libya and Greece. Last known rank - Private, New Zealand Army Service Corps, 4 Reserve Mechanical Transport Company. NZBDM Death: 1945/11003 Isaac Cyril Osborne Accidentally killed on active service in Greece as a result of a casually handled pistol (ref: NZCET; https://nzetc.victoria.ac.nz/tm/scholarly/tei-WH2Mech-c3.html#name-028376-mention). He was reported to be the first divisional casualty in Greece.
