"The farmer Franc Skopec lived at Stranska Vas no. 5 and had three daughters: Minka (age 21), Ivanka (age 19), and Francka (age 18). On 1 May 1942 [sic], when nowhere in Slovenia was there any armed resistance against the communist partisans, some local party members came for all three sisters and forced them to go to Bezenica Woods near the village of Brezje, where they shot and buried all three." The sisters' bodies were initially hidden in two graves known as "Grobišče na Ključu 1" and "Grobišče na Ključu 2" located at 46° 2' 24.01" N × 14° 20' 51.72" E.
