Daughter of Franc Verbič and Uršula Markon Verbič. The SiStory site gives her first name as Jakobina. She was the sister of Lado Verbič and worked as a weaver. She was abducted by the Partisans and murdered in the woods near her home in the hamlet of Kuren above Stara Vrhnika.
