8493 Staff Serjeant James Henry George, Died of Disease (Dysentery) on the 27th.October 1918 at the 42nd.General Hospital while serving with the Royal Army Medical Corps. The 42nd General Hospital – arrived August 1916, established in orphange at Salonika and later moved to Kalamaria in September 1917 and Included a dysentery specialist unit. James was the husband of Hettie (Nelly) Elizabeth George (b.2-3-1888) and father to Eveline Blanche Elizabeth George (b.16-5-1913) of 3, Royal Road, Horfield, Bristol.
