In memoriam

8886 Serjeant James Henry Miller, Died of Wounds received in action, on the 13th.January 1917, while serving with the 7th.Battalion, The Royal Berkshire Regiment. Son of Frances Amelia Miller of 56 Ashburnham Road, Greenwich and later 7 Thames Street, Greenwich. In the 1911 Census, James (20) was recorded with the 1st.Btn. of the Berkshires stationed at Western Heights, South Front Barracks, Dover James was originally buried in Janes Military Cemetery, a few miles to the north of Sarigol, exhumed and reburied in Sarigol Cemetery sometime during 1921-22.
